Typically, you should expect to receive your prescription drugs within 14 days from the time that the mail order pharmacy receives the order.  If you do not receive your prescription drug(s) within this time, please contact SCAN Health Plan’s Member Services department.

Extra Help for Prescription Drug Costs
People with limited incomes may qualify for Extra Help to pay for their prescription drug costs. If you qualify, Medicare could pay for up to seventy-five (75) percent or more of your drug costs including monthly prescription drug premiums, annual deductibles, and coinsurance. Additionally, those who qualify will not be subject to the coverage gap or a late enrollment penalty.

  • Social Security Office: (800) 772-1213, 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. TTY users, call (800) 325-0778
  • Your state Medi-Cal/Medicaid office.
  • Call Altegra at (866) 866-1785 to apply for low income assistance.
